Napp, LLC takes the privacy of your personal information very seriously. This Privacy Policy governs how Napp may use any information you provide to us through its website and mobile application. It includes the following sections:

A. Overview

Napp requires that you provide us certain personal information in order to provide you services. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect and how we may use that information. We will never sell or rent your personally identifiable information or a list of our customers to third parties. There are, however, certain limited circumstances in which some of your information will be shared with third parties, so it is important for you to review and understand this Privacy Policy.

By accepting the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Agreement when you register to be a member of Napp, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in the manner described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is part of and subject to the terms of the accepted Terms of Agreement. If you object to your personal information being used as described in this Privacy Policy, please do not register to be a member of the Napp network. This Privacy Policy will take effect on June 26, 2017.

B. Information We Collect

Required Personal Registration Information
To become a Napp member, you must provide personal information including your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. This required information is necessary for us to provide you services, including processing transactions, issuing a new password if you forget or lose your password, and contacting you should the need arise in connection with providing our service.  It is important that you provide us accurate information and keep your information up to date.  If we cannot verify the information that you provide or we discover it is incorrect, we may ask you for additional proof, or we may suspend your right to access or use or services.

Schedule and Preference Information
When you schedule an booking, you are required to provide us with the times when you would like a sitter.  You may also choose to provide us special important or helpful information (such as child’s health or allergy information, food preferences, information regarding pets, etc.), or you may indicate preferences for specific sitters.

Customer Service Correspondence
If you send us correspondence, including e-mails and texts, we may retain such information in the records of your account. We will also retain customer service correspondence and other correspondence from Napp to you. We retain these records in order to measure and improve our customer service, and to investigate potential fraud and violations of our Terms of Agreement. We may, over time, delete these records in accordance with our policies or if otherwise permitted by law.

Questionnaires, Surveys and Profile Data
From time to time, we may offer optional questionnaires and surveys to our clients for the purpose of improving our service. The use of the information collected will be explained in detail in the survey itself. If we collect personally identifiable information from our users in these questionnaires and surveys, the users will be given notice of how the information will be used prior to their participation in the survey or questionnaire.

You may request deletion of this data by deleting your account in Napp and emailing a request to info@nappnetwork.com

C. Our Use and Disclosure of Information

Internal Napp Uses
We collect, store and process your personal information on servers located in the United States at a secure hosting provider. We use the information we collect about you in order 1) to provide our services and process your transactions, 2) to provide customer service, 3) to improve our products and services.
 
We provide access to individually identifiable information about our members only to those employees or contractors who require it to fulfill customer service requests.
 
Disclosure to Third Parties
Napp will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to third parties. Napp will not share any of your personally identifiable information with third parties except in the limited circumstances described below, or with your express permission. These third parties are limited by law or by contract from using the information for secondary purposes beyond the purposes for which the information is shared.
 
We will provide pertinent personal information to our sitters, who are independent contractors (not employees) of Napp, but whom are contractually bound not to disclose your personal information to third parties except to the extent it is strictly necessary to the performance of their duties (e.g., seeking emergency medical care).

In order to pay required fees to Napp, you may be asked to provide valid credit card information through our website.  This credit card information will not be stored by Napp.  Instead, it will be provided directly to our service provider, who will use the information to process the transaction.  The credit card processing company will be responsible for the use and protection in accordance with law and its own policies and procedures.
If you go into a negative balance and owe us money, we may share information with collection agencies.

We may disclose the information we collect to companies that perform other services (such as mobile location and location notification services) on our behalf. These companies are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit using the information except in connection with the specified Napp-related products or services, unless you have affirmatively agreed or given your prior permission for other uses.

We may disclose information that we in good faith believe is appropriate to cooperate in investigations of fraud or other illegal activity, or to conduct investigations of violations of our Terms of Agreement.

We may disclose information in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, levy, attachment, order of a court-appointed receiver or other comparable legal process, including subpoenas from private parties in a civil action.

We may disclose information to your agent or legal representative (such as the holder of a power of attorney that you grant, or a guardian appointed for you).

We may share aggregated statistical data with our business partners or for marketing purposes. However, this aggregated information will never be tied to personally identifiable information.
As with any other business, it is possible that Napp in the future could merge with or be acquired by another company. If such an acquisition occurs, the successor company would own and have full access to the information maintained by Napp, including customer account information.
 
Our Contacts with Napp Clients
We communicate with our clients on a regular basis via e-mail and phone to provide customer service, provide company updates, resolve customer complaints, provide availability schedules and reminders, investigate suspicious transactions, to send information about important changes to our products and services, and to send notices and other disclosures required by law. Generally, users cannot opt out of these communications, but they will be primarily informational in nature rather than promotional.
 
We may also use your e-mail address to send you other types of communications including newsletters, customer surveys and promotions. You can choose whether to receive some, all or none of these communications when you receive one of these communications, or at any time thereafter by clicking UNSUBSCRIBE at the bottom of the email.
 
In connection with independent audits of our financial statements and operations, the auditors may seek to contact a sample of our customers to confirm that our records are accurate. However, these auditors cannot use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

D. Information Security

Napp is committed to handling your customer information with high standards of information security. Your personal information will be stored on servers managed and protected by a highly reputable provider of web hosting services. The security of your Napp account also relies on your protection of your Napp password. You may not share your Napp password with anyone. Napp will never ask you to send your password or other sensitive information to us in an e-mail, though we may ask you to enter this type of information in the Napp mobile application. 
 
If you do share your Napp password with a third party for any reason, the third party will have access to your account and your personal information, and you will be responsible for actions taken using your password. If you believe someone else has obtained access to your password, please change it immediately by logging into your account and changing your Profile settings, and also contact us right away.

E. Accessing and Changing Your Information

You can review the personal information you provided us and make any desired changes to such information, or to the settings for your Napp account, at any time by logging into your account in the Napp mobile app and changing your preferences on the “Settings” section of the application.
 
This policy may be revised by Napp from time to time. We will post notice of such revisions to our Privacy Policy prominently on our Website so that you can always review what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose it to anyone.  Your continued use of our service after the effective date of the revisions as posted on our Website will constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
